We make learning rich and sustainable

At Pinnacle Pursuits, we strategically plan and facilitate our training and learning events taking a number of factors into account, using best practices – of both learning theory and activity – to achieve the unique goals of each of our clients. Our approach to both our leadership training events and our learning adventures are much more than just fun programs or getaways; they are the result of extensive research in experiential learning and growth and they deliver long-lasting lessons and benefits to participants.

The Pinnacle Pursuits Experiential Approach

At Pinnacle Pursuits, we are strong proponents of experiential learning or learning by doing. During our programs, the participants are given the opportunity to engage in interesting activities and challenges that are specifically designed to apply to their current working, learning and leadership situations.

Observing and reflecting upon our team and ourselves in action allows us to retain new awareness and skills, and transfer them to all other aspects of life. This powerful method of learning increases the potential for long-term impact and positive change.

This is Pinnacle Pursuitsā€™ signature model for evolving people, teams, organizations and relationships. The Pinnacle Performance Pyramid is our assessment and diagnostic tool for evaluating various components that make up effective relationships. We also often use the model to kick off our sessions, giving the programs context and a framework to help participants identify the tools they will be learning to use.

The model takes into account the fact that learning is a multi-stage process, so for progress to be made in a given area, certain skills and capacities must first be built up. We build teams and organizational cultures with a foundation of aligning to a shared vision and set of values, so that clear communication, understanding and trust can be developed. By ensuring this foundation, we can help build teams that commit and are capable of solving problems, taking risks, changing and growing.
