A Wilderness Skills & Resiliency-Building Adventure (Daily & weekly) Have your students embrace the wild and practice the essential skills they would need to survive in a wilderness setting, all from the safety of their neighbouring environment. Students will be set daily and weekly missions including detailed instructions and ‘how to’ videos to promote learning, practice and success. Designed for 10-15 year olds, these missions will challenge students to step outside their comfort zone, problem solve and build self-confidence. Subjects can include:

• Trip planning & preparation
• Knot tying, shelter building & bivouac
• Essential trip gear & correct clothing
• Camp cooking, cleaning & maintenance
• Bushcraft & Fire-making
• Map reading & Compass use
• Natural navigation
• Leave No Trace
• Environmental stewardship & education
• Basic Wilderness First Aid
• Leading others

Upon completion of each mission, a Pinnacle Pursuits facilitator will guide all participants through a debrief summary and reflections assignment to evaluate their individual learning processes. All challenges are accessed on a secure and moderated app.

A virtual team-building session (1 hour) Virtual Serious Play is a mix of fun, facilitated team-building initiatives to boost your students’ spirit and recapture their connection with their peers. Using group icebreaker games, logic puzzles, interactive challenges and adapting personal props from home, the full group is led through a series of entertaining exercises aimed at bringing out the best in everyone! Participants will be energized and empowered through highly engaging, creative and collaborative experiences. Each session is customizable to your class to help reach your desired learning outcomes. Bring students together and watch them shine – all from their home environment!

Take on the escape room from anywhere (2 hours) Using a customized interactive platform, facilitated by the Virtual Games Master, teams will work together creatively to solve a series of unique challenges and puzzles. As they complete each one and submit their answers, the next door opens. The goal is to complete as many challenges correctly in the specified time period. Intermittently, key questions need to answered about team dynamics, before teams can move on. The game will be managed by a Virtual Games Master who will facilitate a meaningful de-brief and host the final Zoom celebration!

An instructive ‘how to facilitate’ guide (2 hours) Add a spark to your online teaching with engaging team-building challenges. These challenges are a fantastic way to energize your group, shift focus and get students working together. This workshop includes 2 hours of online video training where we can teach up to 20 virtual team-building initiatives and challenges, complete with supporting reading material. Add more tools to your teaching tool belt and fun to your classroom with this interactive and practical learning workshop.

An all-week life skills challenge Join this new virtual game that will inspire your students to have fun and flourish while celebrating each others’ unique accomplishments and successes! Give-it-a-go is designed to actively challenge players to try something new every day. This creative and light-hearted game will keep your participants curious and open-minded as they activate their social skills and energize their bodies! A fresh set of simple and unique ‘missions’ are emailed to all participants on a weekly basis while results are tracked and scores are tallied live by the virtual Games Master. Participants will create positive impact and celebrate personal achievements every day! Get ready to Embrace the Adventure and Give-It-A-Go!

A virtual at-home scavenger event (2 hours) Ready-Set-Innovate is a custom scavenger hunt-style experience played through a secure and moderated app. Players can play in class or at-home, solo or as a virtual team. The players are sent their objectives, instructions and a unique password to get started. Once the game begins, players will have access to dozens of fun, creative missions in categories such as science, art, trivia, music, sport, theatre, cooking, logic and life skills. Each successful mission earns the player points based on their level of skill, complexity and challenge. The game will be managed by a virtual Games Master who will be available for support as needed, scoring players’ submissions and facilitating the final Zoom celebration, debrief and awards party! (Option for customizing challenges, theme and overall learning objective).
