UrbaCity Challenge, Island Prostate Centre

For 7 years now, Pinnacle Pursuits has been the main event consultant and overall race course designer to Victoria’s own adventure race. Celebrating it’s vibrant economy, UrbaCity is an urban-based team charity event. It engages volunteer employees, celebrates the vibrant economy in Victoria, and raises money for The Prostate Centre. This event is sponsored and supported by businesses in the Victoria downtown core, and has contributed to MAXIMUS being on the list for the “Top 100 Most Engaged Companies in Canada”.

Trailblaze Challenge, Make-A-Wish

Pinnacle Pursuits are proud to partner with Make-a-Wish to provide training, consultation and overall management & delivery of the Trailblaze Challenge. A Canadian first, the Trailblaze Challenge is an endurance event that gives participants the opportunity to hike a 40km journey through the beautiful forests of E.C. Manning Provincial Park. This hike is one amazing day spent in nature to raise much needed funds to grant the wishes of children in British Columbia and the Yukon.

Power To Play

Between 2011-2018, Pinnacle Pursuits designed and managed the course for both the Victoria and Vancouver events. An amazing one day event, it offers a chance for local organizations to have a unique competitive team-building experience while raising funds for Power To Be adaptive programs. Each year we have helped engage over 200 corporate participants and volunteers and in total have helped helped fund raise over  $2.5m.

Push4Impact, BC Wheelchair Sports Association

For 2018, Pinnacle Pursuits provided the inaugural consulting, visioning, branding, fundraising, and overall event management for this unique corporate fundraising event. Push4Impact is a wheelchair rugby tournament fundraiser in support of the BC Wheelchair Sports Association. Their mission is to provide exceptional wheelchair sport programs and services to build community and promote active living to people with physical disabilities in BC.

Dare To Leap, Outward Bound

Our team provided the inaugural consulting, visioning, branding, fundraising, and overall event management for this unique inaugural event for Outward Bound Canada to fund raise for their new Vancouver Urban Program. The event, which was their first large Vancouver fundraiser, had 75 “leapers” creating awareness and raising money for Outward Bound by rappelling over 200 feet down the side of the Shaw Tower in downtown Vancouver. It was a tremendous success!

The Rush, The Lung Association

Presented by the BC Lung Association – Pinnacle Pursuits was the premier sponsor. Our team consulted on overall race course and flow, and created 5 custom themed team-building challenges each year along with many unique businesses throughout Metro Vancouver, to highlight the best of our very best!
