Dear Friends, Clients and Adventure-Learners & Leaders,

We hope you are well. Thank you for your support and understanding over the past months as the impacts of COVID-19 continue to be felt. As an update to our March 18th Commitment Statement, we thought it timely to give you insight into where we are with Pinnacle Pursuits.

As a company specializing in meaningful human connection, shared adventures and experiential learning, Pinnacle Pursuits naturally felt the impacts on a considerable scale. We have been fortunate enough to keep our team together, learn many new skills while also taking the time to appreciate what we have in our lives. It has been challenging but we have been using this time  as an opportunity to embrace adversity and practice our creative resiliency skills to grow both personally and professionally.

In our development, we have done our utmost to continue serving our community and client base. We have done so by adapting our approach to include:

Looking forward to the future

Understandably, we will cautiously return to some normality over the coming weeks and months. During this transition, we encourage the continued safe practices of physical distancing and careful implementation of provincial government guidelines.

Listening to our community, we have heard the need for people to escape for a mini break – to breathe. With provincial and national borders closed, we have sought to address this locally by leveraging our partnerships. If you are looking for the perfect getaway package with plenty of opportunity for relaxation, as well as outdoor adventure activities for your family, we’ve got the perfect opportunity  for you.

We have organized with our partners at Loon Lake Lodge and Retreat Centre to host families in need of a break-away and some adventure time. To learn more, check out our exclusive family adventure retreats here. In addition, we are available to provide small corporate leadership retreats as needed, as well as some further outdoor experiences for families and friends in August (maintaining social bubbles), that we will be launching soon. So stay tuned…

What to expect…

Beyond our Summer Family Camps, we are monitoring reopening guidelines and safety instructions through Phase 3 of BC’s Restart Plan . We have begun taking bookings for school groups looking for kick-off events in late August and September. We will continue a proactive refund policy during this time to give our clients peace of mind in the event that there are changes to the regulations by the national and provincial government authorities.

As it stands, group gatherings of less than 50 are permitted as case numbers remain low. Physical distancing measures are still required as are PPE measures for any service provider. Pinnacle Pursuits is committed to serving our clients as best and as safely as possible.

We are currently accepting bookings for the coming months for in-person programs with groups of less than 50 within BC. As well, local and national clients can still benefit from our virtual programs to help reconnect their remote work forces and create meaningful experiences for any size group.

As this is an ever-changing environment, we will work with you to provide the best experience with all the necessary precautions available to us. Let’s keep learning, growing and thriving once again, together!

Thank you, and please feel free to connect with us if you have any questions. And most importantly, please stay healthy.

In the spirit of adventure, leadership, teamwork and hope,

Jonathan Willcocks & The Pinnacle Pursuits Team
